And, then there were … six! The third annual Charleston Classic announced six of the eight teams in the 2010 early season basketball tournament, to be held Nov. 18-21 at Carolina First Arena in Charleston, S.C. (Last year’s champion—Miami—has only a few months left to hold the title.) The six teams comprise: Charlotte; East Carolina; George Mason and coach Jim Larranaga (right); Georgetown, led by John Thompson III, left); North Carolina State; and Wofford.
