What is the non-bracketed game?
The NCAA allows each team that competes in a multi-team event (MTE) to play in an additional non-bracketed game with another participant of that same tournament.  The additional game does not affect the overall bracketing or the final outcome of the championship bracket.  All games of an MTE must be played in the same 14-day period.
